There’s something about a black-tie wedding in Philadelphia that just feels timeless — especially when the day unfolds through some of the city’s most beautiful historic streets and spaces.

Riley and Jacob’s wedding at Union Transfer was exactly that. Elegant without ever feeling too formal, full of old-city charm, candlelight, and the kind of energy that made the entire day feel completely effortless.

We started the day surrounded by some of Philadelphia’s most iconic locations, taking in the architecture, the streets, and all the little details that make the city feel like itself. Everything about the day felt distinctly Philly — classic, a little cinematic, and incredibly familiar.

And then we walked into Union Transfer.

The venue completely took our breath away. The architecture, the atmosphere, and especially the candlelit reception created a setting that I know will stay on my mind for a very long time. There was something so intimate about seeing the room glow as the evening unfolded, surrounded by all the people Riley and Jacob love most.

But more than anything, it was fun.

The kind of wedding where everything feels easy. Where everyone knows each other, the room is full of laughter, and the timeline starts to matter a little less because everyone is too busy being present. There was something so familiar and warm about the entire day — like being invited into a celebration that already felt like home.
