Hi! I’m Anya — a wedding photographer based in Los Angeles, California.

I was born and raised in Ukraine and moved to the US to study when I was 19. This sudden life change evoked a new passion in myself - photography. Starting life from scratch in an unfamiliar place with strangers around you is challenging but very rewarding. It helped me understand the variety of cultural backgrounds and unlocked an unlimited amount of experimental photography, mixing documentary, editorial and fine art styles while always having natural, timeless and honest imagery as a priority.

My work is rooted in emotion, connection, and honest storytelling. I photograph weddings with a documentary approach, allowing moments to unfold naturally, while weaving in an editorial eye and a fine-art sensibility. The result is imagery that feels effortless, timeless, and deeply personal — photographs that don’t just show how your day looked, but how it felt.

I’m drawn to real interactions, quiet in-between moments, and the beauty of imperfection. I believe the most meaningful images come from trust and presence, not poses or pressure. My goal is to create space for you to be fully yourselves, so your story can be told in a way that feels true and enduring.
