Helen & Matt — An Intimate Rittenhouse Square Elopement,
shot on 35mm Film.
Elopements will always have a special place in my heart. There’s something incredibly honest about stripping a wedding day down to what truly matters — the connection, the meaning, the quiet moments in between.
Helen and Matt’s day was exactly that.
They chose to get married in a place that already held so much of their story — Rittenhouse Square. It’s where they had their very first date, just a few blocks from the home they built together. A place filled with memories, now becoming part of something even bigger.
With only their two closest friends by their side, their ceremony felt deeply personal and intentional. No distractions, no expectations — just the two of them, grounded in love and supported by the people who know them best.
There’s something powerful about choosing a place that means something to you. A place that witnessed the beginning, now holding space for a new chapter. Before their move to California, Helen and Matt returned to where it all started — not just to remember, but to honor it.
And in that moment, nothing else mattered.
Just them, their story, and the quiet kind of love that doesn’t need anything more.
